2003 Graduate - Lee May- Purchased and opened the
Cinefe`8 (Movie
Theater) in Lithonia, Georgia. One of only 3 African-American owned & operated cinemas, as featured
in the Atlanta Journal

2004 Graduate - Tracy Smith,
owner Busy Bee Cafe -
Purchased the
historic Paschal's restaurant and received over $2 million dollars in grant funding
from the City of Atlanta. (Feature article in the June
11th Atlanta Journal and Constitution)
Edmondson Achievements
Since launching its new Atlanta-based
location in 2003, Edmondson Associates
has graduated over 550 Metro-Atlanta aspiring entrepreneurs. 86 of those graduates are currently
operating their own MWBE businesses with a 75% success ratio.
In 2005, Edmondson Associates was awarded the 2005 Entrepreneur and Advocate of the
Year award from
the United States Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency.
Edmondson Associates is also contracted by corporate supply chain leaders as a spend
advocate to help
increase Minority Business Enterprise spending for contract and procurement opportunities.
